Running With God is Different than Running in the World!!

Went on a run this morning even though I didn’t really have the energy.

1/4 of the way into my run I saw this and took note. Of course the Holy Spirit translated it for me and He said, “Thank you for going your speed.”

I continued to run with curiosity and said, “tell me more.”

He went on to say, “you’re in the race with me and not competing against anyone. You’re simply willing to be in it with me.”

“Yup. As always.” I responded. “But I’m not sure I see the newness of your message.”

He replied graciously, “you still believe that you’re going too slow this season. You’re anxious to get back up with me and run full speed ahead.”

“Oh, that. Yup. I am. I have so much I want to do and say even while my life is a bit of a mess. Don’t you want me to glorify you all the while things aren’t figured out? Don’t you want me to share how much I love you regardless and I’ll run this race with you no matter where you take me?! All for your glory...” I explained as my dog continued to run me down the sidewalk.

“Tara, I want you all to myself for a little while longer. I have more to show you and you’ll miss IT if you leave this slower pace/place too soon. Daughter, I don’t want you to glorify Me as I was to you THEN. When it’s time, I want you to share how much more of My character you know and more importantly I (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) will naturally overflow from your life. Heaven will expand in this growth season so let’s not rush it. Ok?”

Resting for a moment with a grin towards heaven all the while Jagger is marking his spot for the 67th time 1/2 way into our run. I felt the Holy Spirit inside me do a little dance knowing I heard His prayer over me. Then the Trinity went on to say, “Now continue listening to graham Cooke’s podcast. He’s going to share even more truth.”
