“But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language.”
( in other words, = transformation!)
eph 4:31-32
Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior.

Information doesn’t lead to transformation (revelation leads to transformation!)
Identity VS. productivity
(If my goal is productivity — anger etc will only INCREASE)
Working FOR my calling instead of the One who called me into the calling!
QUESTION:
Am I living FOR God or WITH God?
Jesus (Matt 7) “ we performed miracles in your name! “Get away from Me, I never knew you!”
1 Samuel 4-
losing fight with philistines— instead of confession of sins (which is why they were losing) they brought in “Ark of the Covenant” & thought: “IT’LL save us!
—> they relied more on the object to save than the One who saves :(
—> Samuel reveals HOW TO WIN fight on sin: (1Sam 7:3)
“Return to the Lord with all your hearts.
Get rid of your foreign gods and counterfeit images.
Turn your heart to the Lord
obey him alone,
THEN= He will rescue you from your enemy!”
All of Israel gathered: CONFESSED & FASTED all day!
“Don’t stop pleading with our God to save us! (Not an abject but God Himself!)

“ R A D I C A L “
“You should be a radical Christian— killin it for the kingdom!”
We think we must behaviorally & externally be VISIBLE & be doing things for God
Radical = latin word Meaning means root
Radical is NOT behaviors.
True radical life is ROOTED.
Rooted is the INVISIBLE part OF plant that we don’t see
A true “radical” Christian is one that is ROOTED (the invisible part that no one sees— Prayer, confession, unfolding the Word)
From being ROOTED (radical) we bear amazing fruit!!
No fruit if there’s no ROOT!!!
