Gen 41: 14-16
14 Pharaoh sent for Joseph at once, and he was QUICKLY BROUGHT(Hebrew- RAN) from the prison.
After he shaved and changed his clothes, he went in and stood before Pharaoh. 15 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I had a dream last night, and no one here can tell me what it means. But I have heard that when you hear about a dream you can interpret it.”
16 “It is beyond my power to do this,” Joseph replied. “But God can tell you what it means and set you at ease.”

Joseph RAN QUICKLY” out from the prison. ( Freedom)
shaved his beard (removal of protective layers)
changed his clothes (new identity)
‘went into’ the “throne room” (Isaiah “send me”- not in his own power “it’s beyond my power, pharaoh”)
Ez 13:20: “This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against all your magic charms, which you use to ensnare my people like birds. I will tear them from your arms, setting my people free like birds set free from a cage.”
This IS Joseph’s set free moment from his “BIRD CAGE.”
A caged bird flys QUICKLY from its cage
What about you?
Col 1:22: “Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.”
Joseph RAN out of that dungeon, CLEAN!
Book of Judges:
the Israelites walked OUT OF THEIR DUNGEON & into promise land (judges) & DID NOT remove all the “items” from their new land
God said to CLEAN the house & REMOVE all enemy remnants— but they didn’t!
the “ITES” became a “thorn in the side” & caused disaster, death, separation, destruction, poverty, harm, heartache …. FOR NEXT GENERATION !!!!
‘We’ve allowed things to stay ATTACHED to us that are SUCKING THE LIFE out of us!’
God wants you to release ALL of your ITES!!
Not just some or a little- because that “little” WILL be the death of you & your next generation!

C- CLOTHED

1. CLOTHED
It’s the SAME story between Jeshua (Zech)& prodigal son (Zechariah, written 500 yrs. before Jesus’ birth )
The dungeon clothes of SHAME:
Zechariah 3:3- “Jeshua’s clothes were filthy as he stood before the angel.
Luke 15:11-24- “The son came to his father in dirty, muddy, pig-smelling clothes”
• Our new clothes
Zech 3:4 - “The angel said to the others standing there… “TAKE OFF his filthy clothes. And turning to Jeshua, he said, “See, I have taken away your sins, and now I’m giving you these fine new clothes. This, I said, “put a clean turban on his head,” and they dressed him in new clothes, while the angels stood by.”
Luke 15:22- “Quick, bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring and sandals on his feet.”
Homeless, naked, demon-possessed man living in the tombs in Luke 8:27-36

- “A crowd soon gathered around Jesus, and they saw the man who had been freed from the demons. He was sitting at Jesus’ feet, FULLY CLOTHED & perfectly sane-
and they were all AFRAID.”
Once insane….. now sane
Once dirty……… now clean
Once naked…… now clothed….. QUICKLY/SUDDENLY! (You’re either made new or you’re not!)
Joseph was STRIPPED of his robe
& now been CLOTHED in a white robe

2. L I G H T E D
Joseph was FILLED with LIGHT! (Gods “WITHNESS”)
Purposefully Designed barn to bring in LIGHT!
God is LIGHT
“Your Word is a LAMP for my feet.
Your Word is a LIGHT on my path.”
(Psalm 119:105)
1 John 1:5: “God IS light; in HIM there is no darkness at all!”
1 Tim 6:16: “God dwells in unapproachable light.”
Deut 4:24 “God is consuming fire (aka: LIGHT)
John 8:12. “I AM the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the LIGHT OF LIFE!!”
God’s first words in the Bible are:
“And God said, “Let there be LIGHT!”
the world was DARK & formless until He shown His LIGHT
Revelation says there’s no moon, sun, or darkness because God’s presence is there…. He IS LIGHT!!!
WE SEE IN THE BIBLE:
#1. BEGINNING of Bible- God shines His LIGHT in the darkness
(Gen 1:3)
#2. Middle of BIBLE- God uses His LIGHT to shine into the hearts of
people
#3. END of BIBLE - God ends with BEING the LIGHT (rev 21:23)
Rev 1:6– (TELLS us Jesus holds 7 BRIGHT LIGHTS in His hand!)
= illuminating my sin! (His hand on my sin-stained heart)
Luke 11:36
“If you're filled with LIGHT, with no dark corners, then your whole life will be radiant as though a flood LIGHT were filling you with LIGHT!”
Stephen’s LIGHTED face (acts 6:15)
“At this point, everyone in the high council stared at Stephan,
because his face became as bright as an angel’s.”
Moses’s LIGHTED face (Exodus 34:29)
“Moses wasn’t aware that his face was radiant with light
because he had spoken with the Lord… the Israelites were
AFRAID TO COME NEAR HIM…” (Just like the demon
possessed man)

Alleviates restlessness

Recreates a hug
God is our weighted blanket!!!

GIDEON- “ the spirit of the Lord CLOTHED (enveloped) Gideon.” (Judges 6:34)
Joseph was ALWAYS enveloped— and he’s taught us to BELIEVE this, even when external circumstances scream otherwise!
Moses was STRIPPED of family’s enveloping(withness/protection)
& now COVERED in Gods!

4. A D O P T E D
Joseph knew even though he had lost his parents— he was NOT AN ORPHAN!!!
God’s ADOPTED me!
Sarah fisher center (began to understand orphan thinking)
daily - “AWOL” - “Where were you running to?” “TO HOPE”
Romans 5:5
And hope does not disappoint because God has POURED (DUMPED) out HIS LOVE into our hearts through the holy spirit, whom he has given us.

“So you have not received a spirit that makes you FEARFUL slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when He ADOPTED you as His own child. Now we call Him “ABBA, Father.” For His Spirit joins with my Spirit to affirm that “I AM GOD’S CHILD!”
Spirit-of-FEAR is the opposite of Spirit-of-ADOPTION
68% of people don’t do what they feel called to do because of FEAR!

F.E.A.R= Forget Everything And Run
F.E.A.R = Face Everything And Rise.
My dream- hand on back pushing me toward the FEAR, not away from it!
The opposite of FEAR isn’t FAITH… it’s LOVE!

& now ADOPTED into an eternal Kingdom as a child of God!

Because our God has a name that’s ABOVE every name! (Phil 2:9)

It was only after ‘the woman’ made the greatest mistake of her life was she named Eve
Gen 3:20: “Then the man, Adam, named his wife, Eve, because she would be the mother of all who live.”
EVE= “life giver”
Satan desires me to be a LIFE-TAKER
God has made me to be a LIFE-GIVER
Eve wasn’t named out of her mistake,
she was named out of her position — NOT her CONDITION

But— GOD HAS A NEW NAME FOR YOU…
Isaiah 49:16: “See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.” -God.
Rev 2:17: “Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a WHITE STONE with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.”
In Ancient Greece, jury members would cast a white stone saying “not guilty” & a black stone saying “guilty.”
Joseph was wrongly NAMED by his brothers
& now INTIMATELY named by His Father!
