Each day we GET TO use the Word of God to learn more about His never-changing character, how much Jesus loves us and how The Holy Spirit guides us through a heart transformation one verse at a time. The Bible reads us just as much as we read It.

Joy’s Notes: Colossians 1:26
“the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, is now disclosed to the Lord's people.”

Luke 8:17-18
For all that is HIDDEN/SECRET will eventually be brought into the open, and everything that is CONCEALED will be brought to light and made known to all.

Who & what are your INPUTS?????
• We become what our inputs are!
👉What we listen to is
LIFE OR DEATH!
SATAN KNOWS THIS!
that’s why he’s clamoring for our attention!!!
If I’m not listening to the voice of God MORE than the voice of the world?.... (peoples opinions, unguarded thoughts, news, dr’s, scientists, political opinions/speeches, commercials, social media, Ted talks, etc)

..... then what I think I understand, will be taken away!!!!!!
I WONT END WELL! 🥲
EZRA’s fast (8:21)— “I proclaimed a fast so that we might humble ourselves before God & ask Him for a safe journey for me & my children.”
It was to humble Himself before God 😭
Will I fast the worlds INPUTS for 3 day’s?
Fast from = news, ALL political inputs, social Media, newspaper apps, the “unhealthy dance” in a friendship, social media , etc
👉👉To humble ourselves in order to hear the voice of God again!!
(SO IMPORTANT!!!)

INPUTS (GAINING KNOWLEDGE)
• Tree of knowledge of good & evil = God demanded we NOT eat of its fruit.
• We weren’t designed to know such knowledge (outside inputs)
• Knowledge replaces God & makes me god instead of Him (the silent bait= control & power)
The LURE is that knowledge will make me feel “more peace” because I know more facts —- & ULTIMATELY HAVE POWER & CONTROL in this situation!
Gen 3:5
“God knows that your eyes will be opened & as soon as you eat it, you will be like God (knowledge, POWER & CONTROL) knowing both good and evil.” ~satan
👉👉But it’s all a trap!!

1. Busy-ness increase
2. Knowledge increase
It’s all an illusion! It’s a trap straight into a prison cell of crazy makingness!

We have a choice to partake in 2 POWERS:
WORLD POWER PILL= “knowledge is power”
WORD’S POWER PILL=
“God is power”
👉2 different kinds of power!!!!!
(Psst....Satan doesn’t want you to know this!
WARNING: (in fine print) this isn’t the power that you want.
POWER (found through “more knowledge” gives me a false sense of control !)
SIDE EFFECTS of “power” thru worldly knowledge

• Increased fatigue
• Dizziness
• Diarrhea
• constipation
• Sexual problems
• Weight gain
• Tremors
• Increased sweating
• Increased fear
• Agitation
• Exhaustion
SIDE EFFECTS OF “power” through God
• love
• Joy
• Peace
• Patience
• Kindness
• Gentlness
• Goodness
• Faithfulness
• Self control
“You will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit fall upon you.”

God has not given me a spirit of fear— but of (GODLY) power, love & a sound mind
