Welcome! 

This blog is used to share some of our notes from each day’s journaling while we were in Bible study with The Holy Spirit. At the bottom of each blog page, you’ll see which Bible we used and additional resources that may have informed our thinking and learning. We are curious and humble #Biblenerds. Each day we GET TO use the Word of God to learn more about His never-changing character, how much Jesus loves us and how The Holy Spirit guides us through a heart transformation one verse at a time. The Bible reads us just as much as we read It.

Jaime’s Notes:

NASB

For this purpose I also labor, striving according to his power which works mightily within me.

ESV

For this I toil, struggle with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.

Purpose-

Question we all need to ask? Put God 1st in the purpose. What is your purpose?

Failure is ok - Take the moment to “stop” and ask God? Its ok, ask God right? Different? Heart?

Labor & Struggle

Hands on the plow - Society to blame or push on

It is the hands on the plow and allowing the SWORD to move the dirt, sifting

We are called to work the ground but not fight Gods Yoke. It is these minutes of life that develope us.

Struggle

Definition: Contend with an adversary or opposition -

Satan

Sin Nature

Marriage - Relationships - Work -

Striving:

Definition : To contend in opposition, battle, or any conflict, compete (Compete: Train & prepare)

His Power:

Learn to prepare the fields then trust! It’s working through constantly asking then let him work.

Times in life he does let you know A or B - AS long as he comes along. Life will reveal the Holy Spirit missed promptings or signals

Which works - I like just these words - “Which works”

Mightily:

If you can explain it Gods hand wasn’t in it Strength that you know you could not do

Mightily within me

Within me - What is the Lion we have?!!

Go back to purpose then pull together what he can do within us!
