1 Peter 2:7
“Yes, you who trust him recognize the honor God has given him.
But for those who reject him, “The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.”

How many know rejection is protection in order to move in new direction?! 🙌
• The rescue mission of rejection!
Cornerstone = The CORNERSTONE determines the position of the entire structure!
If Jesus is the rejected stone that is now our Cornerstone- why don’t we think we will experience this as well?!
When I first found Jesus, I was like a rough & sharp rock—

(The world makes you sharp and hard)

I was often tossed aside & rejected by false gods that I wanted to accept me.
♥️One of the GREATEST acts of love God gave me was rescuing me through means of REJECTION.
Rejection IS protection.
God used the rejection of others (who I had made an idol) to reject me to save me!
LIVING WATER
👉when they “tossed me away” they tossed me straight into a stream Living Water that over time:
• softened my rough edges of bitterness,
• smoothed out the sharp corners of anger,
• Sand papered my rough protective mechanisms
WEATHERING
Water is the ONLY element that can crack & break & smooth & soften rocks!
(*according to Jared the geologist on you tube;)
1 Sam 17:
David went to a stream (living water) & picked out FIVE SMOOTH ROCKS (The armor of the world did not fit him)
• The world would of said look for the roughest & sharpest rocks
• But God gave David 5 SMOOTH rocks as His weapon:
The rocks were SMOOTHED out by the living Water day after day before David found them in!
👉If im fighting with rocky heart that hasnt first been “smoothed” out by seasons of being immersed in His Living Water— i will lose my battles!!!!
1 Sam 17:
“He picked up FIVE smooth stones from a stream “
👉 the same rocks that were once rejected by the world!
“And he put them into his Shepherd’s bag. 😭
👉 “You are secure IN Gods treasure pouch.” 1 Sam 25:29

Is your atmosphere noisy & dark & polluted? = wrong leader!
“Then, armed with only his Shepherd staff and sling, (His ORDINARY) He started across the valley to fight the Philistines”
👉David only had:
1. Staff
2. Sling
3.Stone
David’s brother REJECTED David because he was only an ordinary shepherd with a few sheep (1 Sam 17:28)
what was once rejected :

👉David reached into his shepherds bag
his ONCE REJECTED STONE & defeated Goliath!!!!
The stone THAT was one REJECTED- after spending time in the streams of Living Water— was now the stone that took down the enemy!!!!
👉 Gen 50:20 “You intended to harm me (rejecting me & tossing me away into a stream) BUT GOD intended it all for good!”🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

“When The Philistine saw that their champion was dead, they turned and ran!”
