1 Peter 1:4
“and we have a priceless inheritance (A possession) —an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.”

We won’t believe we have a priceless possession if we don’t believe we are His priceless possession !
Deut 26:18
(And the LORD has declared this day that you are his people, his treasured possession as he promised, and that you are to keep all his commands.”)
Peter is referring to the Old Testament Israelites wandering in the wilderness, looking for their inheritance in a land flowing of milk and honey.
👉They didn’t believe they were God‘s prize possession— when diffucult circumstances were experienced— Therefore they didn’t believe there was a priceless Inheritance worth fighting for.
If he can convince me I’m not God‘s prized possession ill look for a prize possession on earth instead of heaven! 🥲
1 Peter 5:8
The enemy prowls around like a roaring lion

The verb “prowls” in the Greek present tense, means a continuous action.
The enemy is ALWAYS prowling, ALWAYS seeking to defeat us in battle
How to know when you’re in a spiritual attack: (taken from internet search find)
1. Feeling discouraged, defeated, and depressed.
Things seem hopeless, overwhelming, and burdensome. You feel an overall sense of disappointment. Struggle with a lack of peace and feeling stress. Feel like giving up.
2. Loss of spiritual desire. Difficulty with prayer life, bible comprehension (Jamie story)
3. Physical fatigue- Feeling drained and lacking energy. No motivation.
4. Doubting God’s goodness. Struggling with trusting God to come through for you. anger towards God for “letting you down.” Believing that God is mad at you and punishing you.
5. Negative, disturbing thought life. The enemy attacks your mind— the mind is the battlefield. You may be wrestling with anxious, fearful, or worrisome thoughts. thoughts that nobody cares about them.
6. Thinking about going back to your old lifestyle (back to Egypt) The enemy places thoughts in your mind about going back toward your old life rather that moving forward your prized possession!!!
👉He will lie to you and tempt you with the very things you have been delivered from.
7. Old emotional wounds from past are resurfaced You believed you had dealt with that area of pain in your life, only to find out it is creeping up again in your life.
8. Battling with feelings of guilt, condemnation, & shame. The difficult feeling like youre not good enough, & dont do enough
9. Feelings of rejection, belonging and loneliness seem to be heightened. You feel no one truly understands you, and feel like you don’t belong anywhere.
10. Confusion over what you believe. Is Jesus really for me? Is Jesus the only way? Am I really chosen? Is He who
He says He is?
These and other confusing thoughts are spiritual attacks.

How to have victory over schemes of enemy:
Ephesians 6:10

STAND FIRM: take up & PUT ON the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the SCHEMES of the enemy.

👉Satan wants you carry a tool box of Gods truth everywhere you go- so you’re not able to put on & take up your weapons!

The heart/soul - Mind, will (decisions) &👉emotions👈
SHOES OF THE GOSPEL-OF-PEACE
Where are your “feet” taking you?
Satan wants me to put-on “the shoes of the gospel of confusion”
He wants to take your “feet” to places that’ll DEPLETE you of peace (eg: eve )
For me— stepping out of my comfort zone & sharing with a close friend that I was struggling brought my soul PEACE
Go FOR A WALK- literal
Rev 12:11 “They triumphed over satan by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony!”
SHIELD OF FAITH : to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one
Believe > seeing (Yesterdays msg- what absurd & ridiculous faith action is God asking you to do?
Without faith it’s impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6
